Just a quickie.....

More wonderment will be coming your way sooner than any of us think... but until then, well, here's a quickie repost with some added spice..... First up, James Gunn, a very under-rated SF author -

Hell, he even created one of the better SF TV shows of the 60's!

And here's two pretty nice Phil Dick covers...

And next two Kurt Vonnegut oddities.... my advisor tells me the second book is actually by Philip Jose Farmer... any ideas and/or confirmation on that kids?

Anyone who desn't know that "Trout" is somewhat loosely based on noted SF author Theodore Sturgeon, go stand in the corner with the pointy cap with the big "D" on it....now this... i have NO comment on.....

But this is definitely worth reading, for sure.....

Now, onto the requests.....

The Art of Tom Sutton 2

You might not think it, but legendary Jack Kirby inker Chic Stone was also a rockin' horror artist! Check out this splash panel from Skywald's Nightmare #12! His best horror work was done for Eerie publications though.....

This issue contains his legendary "The Slimy Mummy". Here's a quote. "No person dares to think what FOUL and UNNATURAL horrors lurk beneath the black surface of the Earth waiting to crush human life between their slimy fingers... yet of all these monsters none are so APPALLING, so TERRIFYING as-- THE SLIMY MUMMY!" 'Nuff said!
Also in this issue: "Experiment in Terror" - a nice Pre-Code reprint!
TERROR TALES Sept. 1970

PS. When you're doing the request thing, or indeed, advising me of dead linkage, it would make things WAY easier for me if you tell me specifically which post or item you're talking about, as all the comments are redirected into my email inbox, i sometimes have no idea what you're talking about! OK?
